Motor Vehicle Accident Program

The Sports Medicine Specialists has the expertise to rehabilitate a wide range of car accident related injuries including common orthopaedic conditions such as whiplash and back strains, as well as accident-specific joint, muscle, ligament, tendon, spine and bone conditions.

Once you have contacted your motor vehicle insurance company and received a claim number you can call us at 905-455-0800 to book an appointment.

These treatment appointments will incorporate manual therapy, a wide range of therapeutic modalities as appropriate, stretching and strengthening exercises and may include massage therapy with one of our Registered Massage Therapists.

Once you have booked an appointment, please arrive 20 minutes ahead of your appointment time and bring all your forms and letters from your insurance company. Please wear appropriate clothing. For shoulder, neck, upper back injuries – please wear or bring a tank top or loose t-shirt; mid-lower back, lower extremities ie knee, thigh, hip, ankle, etc please bring or wear shorts, a t-shirt and running shoes.

Lifemark will bill the insurance companies directly. If you have extended health insurance coverage you are legally required to exhaust these benefits first, and then your auto insurance provider will cover the remainder of your therapy. We will take care of billing both your extended and motor vehicle insurance for you.  The insurance companies will not cover any no show or cancellation fees.

We are licensed with The Financial Sevices Commision of Ontario to bill all motor vehicle insurance companies.
